The Calm and Blue Ashtamudi Kayal
Calm waters of the Ashtmaudi Lake (Kayal) ripple along as coconut trees on a faraway spit of land look on serenely. This photo is of the southernmost branch arm of the eight-armed lake, the second largest wetland ecosystem in Kerala. The photo is from near Randam Kutti, (2nd Milestone), Kollam, one of the shining examples of the natural beauty of Kerala.
