A Quaint Kerala Temple atop a Hill
A quaint little Sastha temple sits upon a hill amidst a beautiful setting in an obscure village on the edges of Kottayam district, at the foothills of the Western Ghats. Many temples such as these ones have the “prathishta” of the family deity and are owned and run by families themselves. The temple displays classical and traditional Kerala architecture, legacy and heritage.
