The Name is Chamundi Express. All in Red!

The very red name board of the 16215/16216 Mysore – Bangalore – Mysore Chamundi Express, proudly declaring the name of the train printed in perfect white in Kannada, Hindi and English, over common red paint. The entire train was painted in an unusual bright red livery, as opposed the blues that Indian Railways trains usually get. The red is part of an advertising campaign for Mysore Sandal Soap, the logo of which can be seen on the bottom left. The painting for Indian railway trains is done by hand.
