A Mesmerising Sunset Over the Edava Nadayara Lake, Kerala

A stunning sunset seen over the Edava Nadayara lake in Kollam district in Kerala. The blazingly golden setting sun scatters a wide golden sash reaching across the water to the end. The location, facing exactly west is the setting for several awesome sunset sights. They are best viewed from the train that passes over the Nadayara “kayal” bridge, bringing into focus the natural backwater beauty Kerala is so famous for. The strip of land at the end forms a barrier between the lake (foreground) and the sea (background).
