A C-130J Super Hercules of the Indian Air Force
A massive Lockheed-Martin C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft with tail number KC-3806 of the Indian Air Force on display at the Bangalore Aeroshow 2013. India had bought 6 C-130J Super Hercules planes from the US manufacturer at a cost of about Rs.1000 Crore each. But one of them had crashed near Gwalior on March 24 2014. These four-turboprop-engined planes are among the world’s most technologically advanced aircraft which are highly maneuverable just like jet fighters, despite their size. Presently India has given orders for 6 more C-130Js.
