The Mighty WAP7 and the Colors of the Night!

Awash in the colors of the night, the mighty (and somewhat dirty) WAP7 #30367 of the Royapuram shed stands tall at the Krishnarajapuram (KJM) railway station in Bangalore with the 12609 Chennai – Bangalore Intercity Express in tow. The red on the face of the loco comes from the signals up front, the yellow from the numerous sodium-vapor lamps everywhere and the white from floodlights illuminating construction sites along the station. A sure sight to behold! Night Photography is a challenge, the first of which being finding a place where you can place your camera without it moving! Apologies for the not-so-great clarity, I am still learning the ropes of balancing long exposures with ISO numbers.
