WDM3A “Baldie” #14012 with KCVL – YPR Garib Rath

The 12558 Kochuveli – Yeshwantpur Garib Rath Express  headed by WDM3A “Baldie” #14012 waits patiently on the loop line at Karmelaram Railway Station for the starter signal to turn green after making way for the Bangalore – Selam (now Nagore) passenger, whose rear end can be seen in the other end of the picture. The fully-AC Garib Rath is one of my favorite trains with nice 16 3 AC coaches, cheaper fare (Yeshwantpur (Bangalore) – Ernakulam costs Rs.449 only) and convenient timings. And it is damn fast!
