WAP4 #22888 Resting at SBC

Southern Railways’ flawless WAP4 #22888 of Royapuram shed (RPM) rests along a pitline at Bangalore City after an overnight ride from Thiruvananthapuram with the 16322 Trivandrum – Bangalore Weekly Express. She will head the same train back to Trivandrum the same day. #22888 is relatively lesser spotted loco despite its fancy road number. Note the roof-mounted DBRs, almost look like an afterthought fitting.

If you look closely, you can also spot a pigeon looking up and admiring the mean looking machine! 🙂
