The evening sun casts a golden glow as a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) “Non-Stop Express” bus passes by the St.John’s Bus Stop at Koramangala on its way from Bangalore to Salem. All the monikers such as “Non-Stop” and “Express” are misleading, as these buses crawl their way along the highway taking up to 5 hours to cover the 200 km between Bangalore and Salem.
