Jayarama LS – an Old Private Bus in Kottayam

Jayarama Executive was a stage carriage bus running limited stop (LS) service between Kottayam and Ernakulam in Kerala seen here on the outskirts of Kottayam on a cloudy afternoon. This brightly coloured bus ran during a time when privately-owned buses could be painted in any colour/design/palette the owners wished. They have to all be painted a version of magenta or something now. Even then, yellow coloured buses were actually a rarity. Jayarama was one for the many regularly scheduled Limited Stop services between Kottayam and Ernakulam among the premier private bus routes in Kerala. The bus was an old model built by Kondody Autocraft.
