The 16650 Parasuram Express from Nagercoil to Mangalore led by veteran WAP1 #22013 passes over a small bridge on the Ashtamudi lake in Kollam district, Kerala on a bright and sunny morning. The lake lies clam and idyllic, a sparkling blue in the morning sun. The front shot of a train curving out of a corner on a bridge with a water body (lake) in the backdrop. This would’ve been the perfect photo on a perfect setting but unfortunately it was stolen away by the board announcing the name of the inlet (Edachaal lake). There is no way around this as railway photographers know, when trying to click from a moving train, especially when both trains are at the same speed.
