The New KSRTC Super Fast Premium (non-AC) Bus
A brand new, unregistered KSRTC Super Fast Premium bus awaits registration at the Anayara depot in Trivandrum. This one is part of a lot of 50 new 10.5 meters long non-AC Super Fast buses built by AGCL on a Tata chassis. This and the Fast Passenger bus parked behind it are part of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation’s (KSRTC) fleet of new buses that were recently rolled out with updated design language, styling and livery. The new Super Fast class buses have a radically different styling language which is very different from the traditional Super Fast design that we have been seeing all these years. The new KSRTC Super Fast buses feature “KSRTC” written inside the red diagonal element which does not go all the way to the roof line in the new version. The new Super Fast buses are christened Super Fast Premium which means that they will skip all the depots that are not located at district headquarters but will only stop at the main junctions to pick up passengers which was what the Super Fast class was initially designed to do.
