Celebrating 7 Years of Bangalore Volvos with 356C!

One of  BMTC’s Volvo 8400s built on a B7RLE Chassis running as 356C leaves St.John’s Hospital Bus Stop on its way towards Electronics City from Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic). Today, February 1 2013 marks seven years since Volvo buses have started plying on Bangalore roads. And 356C happens to be Bangalore’s very Volvo city bus route when on February 1 2006 the first Volvo city bus ran on the 356C route! BMTC has had never to look back since and the Volvos redefined public transport in Bangalore forever. The immensely popular Volvo services of the BMTC today form the backbone of the corporation.
