Parallel Tracks at the Quaint Carmelaram Station

The Platform and parallel tracks at the little Carmelaram (code: CLRM) Railway Station on Sarjapur Road, Bangalore on the Bangalore – Hosur – Salem line. The station is fairly new, and four express trains stop here every day. The little station has only one box-like building and floor-level platforms and no overbridge. But it is beautiful and scenic, set in the midst of greenery and trees, only 3 km away from the bustling Wipro Commercial office and the Doddakanelli and Kaikondrahalli residential areas chock-a-bloc with apartments. Still, not many people know about this station which has potential to be developed along the likes of Krishnarajapuram.
