Toyota Prius in Bangalore. Not One, but Two!

A couple of Toyota Prius cars and a brother Corolla seen in Bangalore. All cars are temporary registered KA 42 which is Ramanagara, the jurisdiction under which the Toyota factory comes, hence the cars should be on the way for some show or something. Though they were launched last January I haven’t seen a registered Prius anywhere in India till date and I have been looking around to spot one for quite sometime. Imagine my surprise when I saw not one, but two!

The reason for the Prius not being popular in India is its prohibitive pricing. A Toyota Prius in India costs Rs.26 to Rs.31 Lakh ex-showroom.
