Ponmankal Travels based out of Thellakom route runs a fleet of private local direct bus services on the Kottayam – Ettumanoor route. Here you can see one of those buses at Parolickal junction just before Ettumanoor on the MC Road. Kerala MVD rules dictate that local buses be painted in the green livery shown. The bus was built by Kondody Autocraft on an Ashok Leyland Viking chassis. A Tata KSRTC Fast Passenger can be seen in the background.
