Buses
One of BMTC’s Vestibuled Road Trains
One of BMTC’s many vestibuled buses, known as “Road Trains” in local Bangalore parlance. Vestibuled buses operate on high density routes like the Ring Road and Hosur Road. The one pictured here is running 500A from Banashankari to Hebbal on the Ring Road, seen at BTM Jayadeva Stop. These underpowered, aesthetically unpleasant and beat up Tata buses wheeze and sneeze their way along the route. They are called “Jamdi Vahana” or “Joined Bus(vehicle)” in Kannada. It would do well if BMTC launched vestibuled Volovs or Mercedeses.
@vadakkus Aakri look. Looks like it's locally built with a truck & trailer.
