The Dubai Metro against Marsa Dubai, all in Blue and Gold!

The Dubai Metro train number 5060 running the “red” line from Rashidiya to Jebel Ali glides past the Marsa Dubai area, which consists of the Dubai Marina and surroundings on the left side and the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) on the right. The fierce midsummer desert sun shines down a bit muted, and the afternoon sunlight reflecting off the dust in the air and buildings in the area give the surroundings and the haze in the air an ethereal golden glow, accentuating the gold and yellows used in buildings, except on the ones that are mainly blue. This blue and gold contrast is what gives Dubai its exotic feel! The station is Jumeirah Lake Towers and on the extreme left, you can see the round brown structure of the posh Dubai Marina Mall.
