The colorful and vibrant skyline of the Dubai Downtown, as seen from the Dubai Fountain area of the Dubai Mall, the lights casting long reflections in the water and the lights twinkling like stars. The towers in the skyline, including the Taj Hotel, are part of the Dubai Downtown and the walkway around the artificial lake surrounding the Burj Khalifa. The mesmerizing lights and colors of the skyline create to give a vibrant effect, ranging from violet and blue in the right to orange and red on the left. Dubai is a photographer’s paradise.

A view of two levels of shops at The Dubai Mall, the biggest and possibly the most luxurious malls in the world. The Dubai Mall is the crowing jewel of the world’s consumerism, presented as a clash of colors and diverse architecture, as shown by the blue blocks of Chaumet and the discrete luxury of DeBeers. The sings of shops on the opposite side are seen reflected on the glass panels clamped to the wall.
The Village is a part of the enormous sprawling Dubai Mall, located on its ground floor, consisting of a wide, straight pathway flanked by designer stores on both sides. And a thousand colorful umbrellas are suspended from above to form the ceiling of the pathway, creating a mesmerizing cowl of color! Here are some of those umbrellas. Being an open area, this is the perfect place to head to do when you are tired of walking around in AC to do some window-shopping in open air.
Dubai’s famed skyscrapers stand tall as the skyline of Dubai’s most prolific part of its financial district, Downtown Dubai, an area of very upscale hotels and office buildings, centered around the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. This photo of Dubai in its myriad colors was taken from the Dubai Fountain viewing area of the Dubai Mall, across the manmade lake that surrounds the Burj Khalifa, the shallow water of which reflects the colors of the lights of the towers. Great view! If the photo looks oversaturated, that was purposeful, it looks striking on LCD HD screens.
The Dubai Mall is the greatest attractions of Dubai. The Mall is really a combination of many malls, and “The Souk” is one of those, which is a part of The Dubai Mall with shopping areas designed with architecture to give a feel of a medieval Arabian bazaar while housing the most contemporary of brands. The central area of The Souk, shown in this photo, has jewelry shops lining either side while hand cats selling silks make up the central area. Like everything else in Dubai, this is also richly appointed with intricate, minute attention to detail. The Dubai Mall. Nothing quite like it!
