A Red Ford Mustang Fastback lies in wait for its new owner at Dubai’s famous Al-Aweer used car market. One of the world’s most renowned and powerful cars, the Ford Mustang is an icon of motoring. To increase the screen presence of the car, its surroundings have been grayed out in this photograph. The Al-Aweer car used car market in Dubai is a phenomenal place, a car lover’s wet dream, where you can buy anything from a Toyota Yaris to a Lamborghini Huracan on the spot.
The king of Pony cars, the mighty, indomitable Ford Mustang GT Fastback 5.0 V8 stands on display at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo (though held at NOIDA in the neighboring state of UP). This monster of a car produces 401 PS of power and 515 NM of torque from its 5 liter V8 engine. The Mustang with its wide stance and muscular design (oh that bulging hood!) always exuded raw power and was my dream car from my very childhood. Unlike Italian and German supercars, this American icon named after a legendary horsebreed (or alternatively, after a fighter plane), represents throaty, raw power more associated with open, dusty and rough backwater highways of America rather than the polished European track. And it is finally here in India! The Ford Mustang selling price in India is said to be Rs.55 lakhs ex-showroom, a steal at that price! If you have the money.
The full front view of the new Ford Ecosport that will be launched in India. Ford India has been tight-lipped about its launch, which has been already pending for close to a year. The car looks stunning with its radical design but is not an SUV as advertised. It is below 4 meters in length and about 1.67 m tall, check for comparison the person standing beside it. However, the car sets new standards in design, fit and finish. Read the full preview here.
The stunningly stunning front end of the Ford Ecosport seen up close. The huge, gaping grille absolutely dominates the car and the long upswept headlights (But no projector lamps) give it a good stance. The chrome on the grille elements and around the fog lamps is a nice touch. Everything on the car is impeccably done up with fantastic fit and finish. The exterior just reeks of quality! The front gives the car its much talked bout character, but despite its seemingly large stance it is no SUV, but rather a compact five door type. The version shown here is the highest one, the Titanium. Specs, price and date of launch of the Ford Ecosport are not known yet.
One of the most awaited cars to be launched in India, the Ford Ecosport as seen on display in the Mantri Square Mall, Malleshwaram, Bangalore. The car design is just flawlessly stunning! But it is no “SUV” as advertised by Ford, but a practical family car, smaller in size than was expected. The long headlights, huge grille-cum air dam and badge make a menacing front end, perfectly designed. The car is sub-four meter in length which will save it from taxes. A worthy car to drive around in the city.
